Episode One Hundred Seven – Adventure Maximus!

Steve interviews Francis James Hogan about his new Kickstarter project, “Adventure Maximus!” A roleplaying game for kids, where they can both run and play the adventures, themselves! The game uses a very clever “What, Where, When” card system to generate the adventures, and children as young as eight years old have run the game for their friends. James talks about his inspiration for the game, the artwork and rules that he’s put into it, and his goal of funding a print run through Kickstarter.

Episode One Hundred Six – Oz the Morally Complex

Jeb and Steve discuss “Oz the Great and Powerful,” the almost-prequel to the 1939 classic. The movie helps reveal some common GM’ing mistakes, and also provides some nice tropes for adding the feel of a magical, faerie-like land to a game setting.
